The weekend consists of a Kids Triathlon of various distances, a Try-A-Tri, Super Sprint, Sprint and Olympic Distance Triathlon. This weekend truly does offer something for everyone, whether you’re an elite athlete or a first timer this is your weekend. Teams welcome in all events as well.

Race Details

When - Saturday & Sunday July 20 & 21 2019
Where - Melmerby Provincial Park, Pictou County, NS
Registration Fee -  All Adult Events $60.00  (insurance fee included),
Team of 2 or 3 $105.00 (Teams are welcome in all events),
Kids events are free.

Saturday July 20, 2019 - Kids Triathlon
This is a Free, Non-Timed, Non-Competitive Event
All Participants will receive
- Race T-Shirt
- Race Number
- Finishing Medal
- BBQ to follow

Registration for the kid’s events is at 8:00 am, Races Start at 9:00 am.

Please Note
- Kids can use any Swim Aid they require
- Trikes / Training wheels allowed
- All participants must wear a helmet
- All running is done in the park
- Any age can participate in any distance, whatever they are comfortable with (Short, Medium, Long - see below for distances)
- There are no separate age groups, just separate distances
- Parents are permitted to swim, ride or run with the kids
- There is no online registration for the kids, just show up on race morning

- Our event is "Guaranteed Wetsuit Legal" 
- The race will sell out so no chance of it being canceled due to low numbers. Register early to avoid disappointment 
- There will be Registration & Race Kit Pick up on Saturday July 20, 2019 at Pictou County Cycle, 2619 Westville Road New Glasgow
from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

6:00 am - Transition Opens To Rack Bikes
6:30 am - Registration / Race Kit Pick Up / Body Marking
7:30 am – Registration / Race Kit Pick Up Closes 
8:15 am - Athletes Briefing In The Transition Area
8:30 am - Races start in this order;

  • 8:30 am - Olympic

    1.5 k Swim, 40 k Bike, 10 k Run

  • 9:00 am - Sprint  

    750 m Swim, 20 k Bike,  5k Run

  • 9:15 am  - Try-A-Tri 

    200 m Swim, 10 k Bike, 2 k Run

  •  9:15 am  - *Super Sprint    

    200m Swim, 10k Bike, 2k Run

*The Super Sprint is the same distance as the Try-A-Tri but is a Timed Event, the Try-A-Tri is Not Timed.
